Armor (shield), legendary (requires attunement by a barbarian, druid, or ranger)

A shield-like armament, made of hardy redwood and covered in vines, animal pelts, and thorns.

An aegis imbued with the power of the wild, this aegis has gained some special properties:

The aegis had 5 charges. You may spend one charge as a bonus action to regain health equal to your level, or heal another creature equal to their level or their CR, if appropriate. This only affects living creatures, and it does not affect constructs or undead. You may use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and the charges reset at dawn, or the equivalent time in whatever realm you are in.

You can cast speak with animals at will with a casting time of one action, and you gain advantage on stealth checks in forested areas.

This aegis grants you the strength and resilience of a bear, giving you a plus 1 to your strength and plus 2 to your constitution score.  These stat boosts cannot allow your stats to exceed 20. You also gain advantage on constitution saving throws and a plus 1 to armor class.

A shield is made from wood or metal and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.

Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Stacking Bonus: Constitution Score, Stacking Bonus: Strength Score, Advantage: Stealth, Advantage: Constitution Saving Throws, barbarian, druid, or ranger, Combat, Warding
