Designed of humble leather and woven straw, with seemingly no way to strap them on, these sandals become illuminated by arcane runes once attuned, and magically change in size to fit their owner. The sandal’s straps are magically fastened when placed on your feet, and unfastened when you go to remove them, or if you fall unconscious. These sandals have 4 charges, and regains 1d4 charges after a long rest.
When running while wearing these sandals, you can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You can move an additional 15 feet when moving across surfaces in this way. However, the sandals don't allow you to move this way on a slippery surface, such as one covered by ice or oil. This effect ends if you stand still, or if you take any other action besides moving.
Arcane Runes
You can use a bonus action and stomp both feet on solid ground, such as wood or stone. If you do, you can expend a number of charges to cast one of the following spells: expeditious retreat (1 charge), jump (1 charge), misty step (2 charges), or gaseous form (3 charges). The range of a spell cast this way is limited to self, and its effect ends with your turn.
