This armour was forged and infused by Dyndren, an ancient dragon lord of red dragons. It was created to be used by his chosen champion and to lead his army in battle.
When deactivated, the armour takes the form of a plated gauntlet with a red gemstone embedded in it. As a bonus action you can touch or strike the the gemstone, red plate mail then magically deploys around the wearer, almost instantly covering their form, regardless of shape or size. By touching or striking the gemstone again, the armour retracts back into the gauntlet.
You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor and gain resistance to fire damage.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
