The Axe of Dio Thunderstring is known throughout Dwarven history as the weapon of a true champion. A battleaxe that fights with the metal of the steel as well as the mettle of the souls wielder. Dio was well known for charging across the battlefield using the rhythm of battle to unleash his magical might through the six golden strings that nearly run along the length of the axe, ending at the haft. Now the strings are lost to circumstance, the artifact remains as powerful as a regular battleaxe, but yet it still thrums with ancient musical power. Should the wielder return the axe to its former glory, the axe will grant all the powers that its creator invested into it.
