Weapon (flail), rare

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

On a successful critical hit, you can choose to restrain the target instead of inflicting additional damage.

Reach - This weapon adds 5 feet to your reach when you attack with it, as well as when determining your reach for opportunity attacks with it.

Full Length - As a bonus action you can drop the shackle chain to its full length, extending your reach for an additional 10 feet to a total of 15 feet of reach at the cost of being incapable of scoring a critical hit. This holds true even for Siege. Unless you possess proficiency with flail and whip, you do not add any proficiency bonus to your attack rolls (You do not add a proficiency bonus for proficiency with whip) and you suffer a disadvantage on all of your attacks when using full length. Regathering the chain to continue using normal attacks can be performed as an action, reaction or bonus action.

Always on - This weapon cannot be disarmed. Instead, on suffering a successful disarming attack, you are forced into Full length.

True strike - this weapon bypasses resistance to bludgeoning and nonmagical forms of damage and treats immunity to the same as resistance.

Restrain - As an action, you can attempt to restrain a creature or a construct within 5 feet of you. The target must succeed on a dexterity save or be restrained. While you are restraining the target you are unable to use Adamant shackles to perform attacks or additional actions.

Siege - Whenever you hit an object or physical construct with this weapon, the hit is a critical hit.

Chainlength - You can use the chain of Adamant shackles for any purposes you would use a 20 ft length of chain, with the caveat that it is always attached to your wrist. While using Adamant shackles in this way, you are unable to use them to perform attacks.

Locked on - This weapon is afixed upon your wrist and can only be removed with the lock's true key, Dexterity (thieves’ tools) check of 28 or the use of Wish spell.

Proficiency with a flail allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
