Wondrous Item, very rare

This tiny acorn has a very thin shell. so thin that you can practically see through it to the swirling gasses trapped within. This nut has been imbued with some form of Elemental Air. The locals don't know what causes some acorns to grow in this manner while others remain untouched. They do know that the higher up in the canopy these nuts grow, the better chance they have of being changed. Their rarity causes them to be a valuable commoditie amongst nature lovers.

The person or creature that consumes this seed must pass a Constitution Saving throw DC 15 or be subjected to its unique side effects. The user may also choose to willingly fail the save and be subjected to its effects.

Effects: Succesfull passing of the Constitution Saving Throw grants the user a flight sped as if they had the Spell Fly cast upon them. Failure to save results in the affected creature begining to feel light headed, their torso balloons as the trapped winds of the Aircorn are released into their body. The creature levitates a foot vertically off whatever surface is underfoot and begins to drift aimlessly. Roll a D6 to determine direction of drift. The affected creature doesn't need to breath for the duration of the spell as breathable air is generated continuosly within their body. Additionally the affected creature must keep their mouth closed or zip in the opposite direction that they were facing up to their movement speed. Affected creatures with an intelligence equal to or above 6 may use an action on their turns to purposefully jet up to their movement speed in a direction of their choosing.

Drifting/Jetting Table:

1 - Vertically Upwards

2 - Horizontally Right

3 -  Horizontaly Backwards

4 - Horizontally Left

5 - Horizontally Forwards

6 - Vertically Downwards

NOTE: A creature who has failed their saving throw and is "Ballooned" has disadvantage on melee and ranged attacks that require the use of their limbs. They are also considered to be "Concentrating" on holding their breath for the purposes of spell casting. Affected creatures can still cast spells that require verbal and somatic components but openging their mouths to do so will result in another D6 roll to determine the direction they jet off in.

Notes: Disadvantage: Ranged Attacks, Disadvantage: Melee Attacks, Movement, Exploration, Consumable
