Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a artificer with the Mark of Making and an Intelligence score of 18 or higher)

"Being a genius, playboy, Galifar-gilded philanthropist has many benefits. Nigh infinite access to the best House Cannith toys ripe for the tinkering, for one. Also a clear invite to any and all of the best parties in Sharn. But there's one nobody really considers. You know what that is? Nano-constructs, son."

- Antoniko "Tonik" d'Cannith, master armorer artificer of Cannith South

Crafted by Antoniko "Tonik" d'Cannith, this cutting edge artifice is the finest piece of armor ever created by Sharn's iconic armorer. This unique suit uses nano-constructs to be applied almost instantly, and taken anywhere with ease.

You have a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. You can don or doff this armor with a bonus action. Additionally, when doffed, the armor can be worn on your person either as a pendant, ring, or similar object. You can use a bonus action to don the armor by speaking a command word of your choosing, or pressing it with your hand, as the nano-constructs spread out and shape over your whole body like liquid metal. The armor cannot be removed against your will, whether donned or doffed. You have resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage while wearing this armor, and gain a flying speed equal to double your walking speed.

The armor also has one minor beneficial property and one major beneficial property, either randomly determined or chosen by the DM. See “Artifacts” in chapter 7 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide for details on randomly determined properties.

Adamantine Plating. Adamantine is a highly valuable and durable metal, bearing magical defensive capabilities. Any critical hit against you is instead treated as a normal hit.

Cannith Versatility. Magical items that require attunement by a warforged (such as the armblade, docent, and wand sheath) can now be attuned to by any creature attuned to this armor. The attuned magic items become inseparable from the armor, melding into it when the armor is doffed.

Fluid Form. The armor is as malleable as leather while still being as tough as steel. This armor does not impose disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

Destroying the Armor. Antoniko d'Cannith forged this armor deep within the flames of Fernia, and poured in the greatest power his dragonmark had to offer. It can only be destroyed in a creation forge by a human bearing the Mark of Making while Fernia is coterminous, where it must be unmade over the course of 12 hours.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Ignore: Heavy Armor Speed Reduction, Stealth Disadvantage: Remove, Ignore: Minimum Strength Requirement, artificer with the Mark of Making and an Intelligence score of 18 or higher, Artificer, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
