A large, animate quid eye suspended in blue, faintly glowing liquid in a sealed, clear glass jar radiates a strong aura of necromancy when tested with detect magic. The eye tends to follow movement. It gives some creatures the heebie-jeebies, especially those unsettled by being watched, which may be its only purpose. As a centerpiece, it may put dinner guests off their feed.
