Assal was forged by the god Tyrin, god of conquest and strategy (and the least liked of the Kartelia), and given to Simon, a mercenary whose cunning and determination had earned him a place as a divine champion. Assal is an eerie weapon to see. A black metal shaft leading to an strange green spear tip that seems to glow and pulse with energy. It almost seems ethereal in nature. Despite being a fairly large weapon, wielders have said that it feels incredibly light in their hands, while those unworthy can barely lift it due to the weight.

Piercing Strike Assal has 5 charges, and whenever you make an attack roll, you can speak Assal's command word and expend 1 charge to treat the enemy's armor class as if it was 4 lower. When this happens, Assal's spear tip seems to become transparent, passing through armor as if it wasn't there. You regain 2 charges at dawn every day.
