While the Cutter is useless to most people, when its host wields it a special power is reveled and the blade is charged. While it is charged the Abyss Cutter can slice through almost anything, or anyone. If you attune to it you can then summon it from where ever shadows lie. The blade will appear in the hand of it's true owner. The Abyss Cutter cannot be destroyed by anything short of a wish spell.
The Cutter does 1D10 necrotic damage on a hit per charge the weapon has. The Abyss Cutter has 2 max charges plus the level of the person it is attuned to divide by two rounded up. (A level 1 or 2 character has 3 max charges, a level 3 or 4 character has 4 charges, and so on). A charge is expended whenever you attack, or when you cast a spell using the cutter.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
