Amor of Cinders (Awakened)

Once belonging to a cambion general of the former lord of the Nine Hells before Asmodeus's rise to power, this set of half plate armor made from plates of bone was imbued with the energy of the elemental plane of fire after a failed incursion by the armies of hell. It is currently donned by the general driven mad by his isolation and exposure. 

Dormant

• The wearer gains a +1 bonus to their AC
• The wearer gains resistance to Fire damage
• Any creature within 10ft of the wearer that hits them with an attack takes 1d4 fire damage
• The wearer gains a minor beneficial property

Awakened

• The bonus to AC increases to +2
• The wearer has advantage on Saving Throws against spells and effect used by Elementals or Devils
• The fire damage dealt to attacking creatures increases to 1d6
• The wearer gains an additional minor beneficial property as well as a minor detrimental property

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
