Amor of Cinders (Exalted)

Once belonging to a cambion general of the former lord of the Nine Hells before Asmodeus's rise to power, this set of half plate armor made from plates of bone was imbued with the energy of the elemental plane of fire after a failed incursion by the armies of hell. It is currently donned by the general driven mad by his isolation and exposure. 

Dormant

• The wearer gains a +1 bonus to their AC
• The wearer gains resistance to Fire damage
• Any creature within 10ft of the wearer that hits them with an attack takes 1d4 fire damage
• The wearer gains a minor beneficial property

Awakened

• The bonus to AC increases to +2
• The wearer has advantage on Saving Throws against spells and effect used by Elementals or Devils
• The fire damage dealt to attacking creatures increases to 1d6
• The wearer gains an additional minor beneficial property as well as a minor detrimental property

Exalted

• The bonus to AC increases to +3
• The wearer gains immunity to Fire damage
• The fire damage dealt to attacking creatures increases to 1d8
• Once per dawn the wearer can siphon the elemental resistance from entities around them. Each creature within 30ft of the wearer must make a DC17 Constitution saving throw. On a failure the creature loses resistance to fire damage and their immunity becomes resistance for 1 minute. Additionally they take 2d8 fire damage. Elementals and Devils have disadvantage against this effect. On a success they take half damage an suffer no other effects. For that minute the wearer's weapon attacks deal an additional 2d4 fire damage.
• The wearer gains a major beneficial property as well as an additional minor detrimental property

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
