Created by a crazed magician who put stock into fables and had a dark sense of humor. He crafted this axe to give advantage to those who are sharp-tongued, but also heavy of muscle: a rare breed of being he championed above others.
Using this axe grants the user the following:
- You have a +1 to any attack and damage roll made with this weapon.
- When using this weapon on a successful hit, the wielder may invoke the power of Aesop Grimm, the master of fables in literature, and may choose to either
- Yell a sharp-witted insult (determined by DM) at their opponent adding an additional 1d6 Psychic Damage to their attack
OR - Make an epic dad-leveled pun (determined by DM) at their opponent, invoking a DC 14 CON save that will render the opponent incapacitated on a failed save for their next turn.
- Yell a sharp-witted insult (determined by DM) at their opponent adding an additional 1d6 Psychic Damage to their attack
Proficiency with a Handaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Damage: Psychic, Incapacitated, long rest, Damage, Combat, Light, Thrown, Vex
