You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If attuned to by a Paladin of Veiled Despoena, attacks deal additional necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
A curved, gleaming adamantine scythe, Ankyra is the traditional weapon of the Champion of Veiled Despoena.
This scythe contains seven charges. Expending one charge allows the Paladin to gain the ability Eyes of the Grave for one hour. Expending two charges on a successful melee attack allows the Paladin to cast the spell vampiric touch without requiring any spell components. Expending six charges on a successful melee attack allows the Paladin to cast the spell harm without requiring any spell components. Once all charges are spent, Ankyra acts as a normal adamantine +2 weapon, until your next long rest; when it regains all seven charges.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
