An attuned creature can use an action to place this card-sized door on the ground and speak its command word. The card rapidly grows into a 5 ft. wide door that remains until you or another creature moves through it. The magical door functions as a Dimension door spell whose location is chosen by the creature who uttered its command word. Upon emerging from the exit door, it vanishes and reappears in card form on the attuned user. It will appear on the top of a deck of cards the attuned user has on their person, their hand or on the ground if their hands are full.

Instead of the Dimension door effect, the attuned creature may expend a charge to have the door open into an extradimensional space. Upon walking through the door, it shuts behind the user. Applauding and cheering can be heard as the user falls 15 ft. into an area resembling a 10 ft. by 10 ft. trap room beneath a theatre stage. By default, the space only contains a 50 pound straw mattress for landing on. The extradimensional space may contain up to 150 pounds of weight or else it will not be able to return to its card form upon exiting. A ladder attached to the wall can be climbed to exit through the door on the ceiling of this room. Footsteps and muffled voices can be heard occasionally from the ceiling as well as applauding and cheering from the direction of the unknown audience. Attempting to peek through the floorboards is not possible due to the strength of the stagelights. There is a false door on the side of the room, directly fused to the wall.

The Door of Dimension Door is made from a magically reinforced wood and its magic prevents the entry door from being tipped over when deployed. It has 100 hit points, immunity to damage from nonmagical weapons excluding siege weapons, and resistance to all other damage. If the door is destroyed while the user is in the extradimensional space, the audience will sigh sadly. The trapdoor will fuse into the ceiling and the false door to the side of the room will transform into an actual door which can be used to exit into the nearest backstage door in a theatre. Upon exiting in this way, the card will reappear in the deck of the attuned user but can not be used until a wish spell is cast to repair it. Any objects left inside the extradimensional space will be inaccessible until the card is repaired.

The Door of Dimension Door has 3 charges which are reset after a long rest. Once it has lost all charges and there are no creatures in its extradimensional space, it automatically assumes its card form and returns to the attuned user.
