Weapon (scimitar), artifact (requires attunement)

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.

When you attack a creature with this weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut the creature in half. The creature does not die immediately if it is an ooze, is immune to slashing damage, or has legendary actions. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d6 slashing damage from the hit. If the GM decides that the creature is too big to be cut in half with this weapon, it is immune to this effect entirely.

As an action, you can turn this weapon into a pair of golden scissors or turn it back into its weapon form. As a pair of scissors, they never lose their sharp edge and can cut through mundane materials as tough as steal as long as they are thin enough (similar to paper).

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Nick
