Common amongst sailors, this magic tattoo appears as the letters H-O-L-D and F-A-S-T on the knuckles. Activation is a bonus action, and lasts 4 hours. Recharged after a short rest.

Originally created to work rigging during storms, this tattoo grants proficiency with rope and makes it impossible for the wearer to lose their hold on rope of any kind. Additionally, if the item they are holding is similar in shape or fiber to a rope, this can grant advantage on checks to keep grip upon the DM's discretion. When climbing a rope, it is up to the DM if the tattoo will make it impossible to fall or if it will just give advantage (ropes can break, after all).
