Armor of the Phantom Knight

This polished plate armor is inscribed with the heraldry of a long-forgotten kingdom tied to a war with aberrations from far realms.

While wearing this armor, you can use an action to speak its command word. A large quasi-real tentacled horse-like creature appears nearby for 1 hour, as though you had cast the spell phantom steed, but the creature uses the statistics for a Warhorse, and is also equipped with a +1 Lance. The armor can't be used this way again until the next dawn.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
