Amulet of Empowerment

This amulet has 3 charges, and it regains all expended charges after a long rest.  While wearing this amulet, at the end of each long rest, choose one school of magic.  Until the end of your next long rest, whenever you cast a spell of the same school of magic which is 8th level or lower, you may choose to expend one charge to upcast the spell by one level without expending a higher level spell slot.  This feature may be used multiple times for a single spell, allowing you to add up to 3 levels to one spell.
