A beehive that belongs to the great Appletun, an ancient deity of the Feywilds that is known for delivering fresh fruit to their followers.
As a bonus action, you can pull an apple from the beehive and throw it (Range 30/60ft) Every creature within a 20ft radius of where you throw the apple must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to your spellcasting DC) and take [roll]6d6[/roll] fire damage, or half as much on a success. Each apple has a special trait to it, and each one costs a different charge to pull. The hive has 30 max charges. The list of apples is as follows;
- Swarm apple (1 charge): A swarm of bees appears in the nearest unoccupied space wherever the apple lands.
- Gigantic apple (2 charges): A giant bee emerges wherever the apple lands. All creatures of medium size or lower in a 5ft radius are pushed back 5ft and must make a Dexterity saving throw DC12 to prevent from being knocked prone.
- Fire apple (3 charges): 1 Giant Fire Bee emerges in the nearest unoccupied space wherever the apple lands.
- Warrior apple (6 charges): Two Giant Honey Bee Elites emerge from the apple in the nearest unoccupied space wherever the apple lands.
- Worker apple (1 charge): This apple does not explode/deal damage A giant bee emerges from the apple. They act like an unseen servant and will do tasks given to them so long as it is possible for them to do so.
- Funny Honey apple (4 charges): This apple does not deal damage. A thick coating of honey explodes out in a 30ft Radius. Creatures within that range must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC Equal to your spellcasting modifier) or become Coated. The area becomes difficult terrain, and creatures with the Coated condition have the effects of the slow spell placed upon them. A creature can spend 1-hour soaking in water or 3 uses of prestidigitation to clean themselves off. This apple can also be eaten normally as a savory-sweet treat! It restores [roll]2d4+4[/roll] health
- Fog apple (2 charges): This apple does not explode/deal damage. A cloud of bees springs forth, clouding vision behind them. While in the cloud of bees, Any creatures of Medium or Large size are considered under half-cover, while small or smaller creatures are considered behind three-quarters cover.
- Armor apple (2 charges): This apple does not explode/deal damage. A shroud of bees burst forth from the apple, coating a willing creature in a layer of thick bees. For the next minute, the targeted creature gains a +2 to their AC, and 20 temporary health.
- Queen apple (10 charges): A giant queen bee emerges wherever the apple lands. All creatures of Large size or lower in a 10ft radius are pushed back 10ft and must make a Dexterity saving throw DC18 to prevent from being knocked prone.
Defend the Hive (20 Charges): By expending 20 charges on the hive, you can summon the Bee Legion, 1 Giant Queen Honey Bee, 2 Drones, 2 Workers, 1 Giant Fire Bee, 1 Giant Elite Bee, and 3 swarms of bees. These bees are friendly to you and your allies and take their turns in the initiative immediately after you. The bees will spend their turns firstly defending you, and secondly attacking hostile creatures.
All bees summoned through apples are friendly to you and your allies. They take their turns in the initiative right after you. You can issue a command to your bees using a free action, if no command is issued they follow the most recent command or take the dodge action if there are none.
Must suspend the hive off the ground over a long rest to regain charges. If someone tries to disturb the hive while it charges it triggers Defend the Hive regardless of current charges. These bee's are hostile to ALL creatures besides Juliet AppleBee.
