Amulet of Aion

This jade amulet is carved to look like an eye. While wearing the amulet, your ability to see into Aion is expanded and stabilized. Turning the iris in the amulet's center as a bonus action switches it into an active or inactive state. While inactive, the medallion blocks your Aion-related abilities and forces you to become vulnerable to the flow of time. During this time, you are immune to magical effects that would stop, slow, or accelerate the rate at which you age without altering the flow of time around you.

While the amulet is in an active state, it bolsters your Aion-related abilities. These effects are unique to its wearer, in this case an Echo Knight whose echo has Aion-sight:

• Whenever you swap places with your echo, you enter Aion. This effect lasts until you swap places with your echo again, you change the amulet to an inactive state, you take off the amulet, or you are targeted by Dispel Magic. If the effect ends by any means other than swapping places with your original echo, you arrive in the time that was shown through Aion.
• In Aion, time may flow forwards and backwards at differing speeds. When you arrive in a different time shown by Aion, your timing might not be perfect. Roll Luck (1d100). The DM determines the point in time that you arrive in based on your roll, which may be beneficial or detrimental to your intentions.
• If you leave Aion by swapping places with your echo, assuming the original was not dismissed, you return to the time and place you entered Aion from, regardless of how Aion is flowing around you.
