This Sci-Fi -1 Shield is able to act allow you to do the shield spell as a reaction for five times as long as you got the STR of 9 & know how to use Shields.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
