Bracers of Counterattack

"If you can defend, counterattacking makes you dangerous."

The Bracers of Counterattack may turn any incoming melee attack whether it is successful or not into an opportunity for a counter attack.

• +1 AC
• Counterattack Throw. (1 charge) The attuned wearer may use their REACTION to make an Athletics or Strength roll against the DC of the incoming melee attack roll. If the attuned wearer fails they suffer normal damage if hit. If the attuned wearer is successful, they are able to avoid the incoming attack's damage while inflicting CRITICAL unarmed damage and the prone condition upon the attacking target as long as the target's size is no larger than one greater than the attuned wearer's size.
