This sword holds the rage and fury of all Gormotti to have ever fallen in battle. Protected and revered due to its immense power, the Aegis can only be wielded by a very special person. Anyone else who tries to wield it will be met with a much darker fate.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Chosen Wielder. Few are chosen to wield Aegis. As long as you remain chosen and attuned to Aegis, you are unwilling to part with the sword, keeping it on your person or within reach at all times. While attuned to this weapon, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with weapons other than this one.
Ancestral Vengeance. The spirits and emotions stored within Aegis push you to protect yourself from those who do you harm. While Aegis is on your person, at the end of each turn in which you do not do damage to an enemy that has damaged you this combat, make a DC 12 Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, you take 1d4 psychic damage.
Ancestral Rage. The fury of your ancestors fills you, allowing you to push yourself past your limits. The first time you would receive a level of exhaustion, you instead do not receive a level of exhaustion. This ability can be used again after a long rest.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Gormotti chosen by Aegis, Damage, Combat, Cursed, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
