-While attuned to this item you gain the following:

- 2 Minor Detrimental Properties (1 of the DM's Choice, the other is a roll of 91-95)
- 1 Minor Beneficial Property (DM's Choice, but 51-90 is NOT recommended)
- 1 Major Beneficial Property (DM's Choice, but 51-90 is NOT recommended)
Sentience. The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless is a sentient chaotic neutral weapon with an Intelligence of 10, a Wisdom of 16, and a Charisma of 10. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
The wand can speak, read, and understand Common, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its voice is rough and grumbly. While you are attuned to it, The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless also understands every language you know.
Personality. The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless speaks primitively, plainly, and as though conversing with a young child. The wand's purpose is to consume other lesser wands. Its appetite is insatiable, and is its only motivation. A well fed wand will generally obey its owners command, unless the command given would be detrimental to the wand itself, or another wand it can see within it's visual range. An unfed wand refuses to recharge, and may alter its intended target when used.
Appetite for Attunement. Whenever The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless consumes a wand that requires Attunement, it can choose to memorize/store the form of that wand. The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless can store and attune up to 3 wands/forms at a time, acting as a singular wand with up to 3 sets of charges, with each stored form individually functioning and recharging normally. Replacing a memorized/stored form completely resets any upgrades to that form, and the upgraded wand is lost forever, consumed by The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless.
Devour Wand. As an action you can "feed" The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless another wand. When it devours a wand, The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless regains a number of charges equal to the number of charges contained within the wand it is devouring, and the devoured wand is subsequently destroyed. These charges are distributed evenly amongst the forms currently stored within its Appetite for Attunement feature, unless the consumed wand is a duplicate of one its stored forms. Devoured wands are lost forever consumed by The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless.
If you consume a duplicate wand to the one(s) stored within The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless, you can choose to have all the absorbed charges recharge the matching stored form, or can choose to progress toward permanently upgrading the stored wand. To upgrade a wand, The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless must consume a number of duplicates equal to the base level of the spell contained in the current form of the stored wand. Once successfully upgraded, the base casting level of the spell in the wand increases by 1, to a maximum of 9th level.
(EX: A wand of Fireball casts a 3rd level Fireball spell for 1 charge, feeding The Writhing Wand of the Shapeless 3 Wands of Fireball, will upgrade its stored wand of Fireball form to instead cast a 4th level Fireball for 1 charge. Consume another 4 duplicate wands, and the base level would increase again to 5th level.)
