Weapon (shortbow), very rare

You can cast a spell that you know (Of a level no higher than 3rd and with a casting time of 1 Action or Bonus Action) and imbue this Arrow Of Spell Storing with that spell.

When you fire this arrow you must speak your intended target out loud to the arrow.
On hitting the declared target the spell stored will activate.
If the arrow does not hit the intended target, or you are not the person who placed the spell into the Arrow Of Spell Storing, then the magic of the item keeps it from breaking, it only deals normal damage.

If your attack with the Arrow Of Spell Storing missed, and you are able to retrieve it, you can attempt to try again.

Once imbued with a spell, the Arrow Of Spell Storing becomes an enchanted item. You can not dismiss a spell once stored in the arrow.

If a spell activates it consumes the Arrow Of Spell Storing in the activation of the spell. If the spell requires a saving throw it uses the DC of the caster when the spell was cast.
If the spell activated requires an attack roll, do not roll but use the roll from the attack roll made to fire the arrow.

The Arrow Of Spell Storing glows greatly when fired, Arcana checks made against the Arrow Of Spell Storing to determine spell knowledge are made with advantage.

Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
