The serrated edge of this old brass key has been filed down so that it can fit many locks.  Surprisingly it fits locks on almost any door, gate, and chest.  When inserted into a lock then turned the Skeleton Key casts a Knock spell to open it.  

Once used the Skeleton Key can not open another lock until after a short  rest.
