The Arcan Revolver is an arcan-infused handgun that can hold 6 rounds of ammunition at a time. The gun is etched with copper and brass inlays to stabilize the magical power of the arcan gem placed in the hammer. The revolver is naturally quiet only making a dull thudding sound when the hammer strikes the chamber.
Ammunition can be anything that would fit in the chambers of the revolver (E.g. bead, stone, arcan gem) but is most effectively utilized when standard or arcan-infused ammunition is used.
Damage:
Improvised ammunition: 1d4 piercing
Standard Ammunition: 1d10 piercing
Arcan-Infused Ammunition: 1d10 piercing; plus additional effects based upon Arcane Infusion
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Damage, Combat, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Sap
