This gold and crystal astrolabe, though made by Yarai, were blessed by the Knave.
Dormant
While attuned to the astrolabe in its dormant state, you can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 60 feet. Additionally, you have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. You also have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks made to navigate your way.
While attuned to the Astrolabe of the Knave, you can choose to keep a single soul contained within it. At the moment a creature dies and its spirit leaves its original body, you must make a decision to draw the soul into the astrolabe or not. If the soul is willing, it enters the astrolabe. While so housed, the soul within retains its Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma stats, and can mentally communicate with the one currently attuned to the astrolabe. The moment the soul enters the astrolabe, roll a d20. On a 10 or higher, the soul retains its memories and identity intact. On a 9 or lower, the soul loses its identity, and on a natural one, loses most of their memories and identity. Should you choose to put a different soul in the astrolabe, the original soul will be released.
You also gain the cantrip Light.
Notes: Advantage: Investigation, Advantage: Perception, Advantage: Survival
