Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)
Created by the boy wizard, Ez, the Mage Gauntlet is a prodigious item made of articulated metal strips and magically bonded crystals.
Spellcasters attuned to the gauntlet are able to utilize its inherent charges as spell slots. It also confers the following benefits:
- Amplified Evocations - Evocation damage is increased by 1d8
- Spellslinging - The spellcaster may expend a charge to cast a second evocation spell as a bonus action.
- Blink - The wearer may expend three charges to cast Blink
The Mage Gauntlet is recharged by any wizard pushing their magical power into the gauntlet. Mechanically, the wizard during a short rest sacrifices their spell slots to create charges within the gauntlet upto a maximum capacity of 12 charges.
