Weapon (shortsword), very rare (requires attunement by a gnome of worthy morals)
The attuned wielder may benefit from the following magical properties:
Succumb to the Chaos
- On a hit, the attuned wielder may forgo damage to activate a random magical effect (1d4) which may be resisted by a Charisma Saving Throw vs a DC of the wielder's Charisma.
- The target is prone
- The target is randomly teleported in a location 5ft away to an unoccupied spot (roll 1d10 for cardinal direction, with 9 and 10 being vertical).
- The target is restrained in magical rainbow tethers for 1d4 hours
- The target is stunned dazed with colorful hallucinations for 1d4 rounds
- NOTE: A successful save makes apparent that the sword is intentionally not making contact and magical energies are released that appear like kaleidoscopic shimmering lights that twinkle away.
Paralyzing Chaos
- On a Natural 20, the target is paralyzed by phantasmic sensory overload for 1d12 rounds or until dispelled.
Detrimental Effects
- If put into a bag of holding, portable hole, or other similar astral dimensionally based pocket space, it explodes and destroys itself and anything within 30ft of the space. Inside anything short of artifacts are destroyed, and creatures take 100 radiant damage. From the outside, the magical container appears to pinch out of existence.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: gnome of worthy morals, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Vex
