Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with proficiency in martial weapons.)

Origin. Lady Ad'Alunari was a great and powerful half-giant warrior, an ancestor of the great Firbolgs long before their exiles to the Feywild. Ad'Alunari was a near-god, a celestial and primordial paragon. Ad'Alunari was slain, beheaded and mocked by a powerful worshiper of Yeenoghu. But her mission on her world of the material was not finished. She bargained with the Gods to stay within her plane as a spirit within her powerful, legendary holy weapon, a Greatsword alleged to be forged by Sehanine. She would spend her days guiding others to serve under the same practices she performed in life, and perhaps convert wayward souls, or regale others in tales of the past. Lady Ad'Alunari was left to rust in the woods for hundreds of years, and would go through this vicious cycle of being found and used and lost again. She gained the power to channel the essence of another's soul after their death through Hexblade Pacts as well, allowing them to enter the domain of Sehanine in the afterlife.

Guiding the Wayward. Ad'Alunari can speak with attuned individuals via Telepathy. Those attuned also gain the ability to speak Celestial, Primordial, and Giant. This blade exudes a divine Lawful Good aura. She will deal 1d6 Psychic damage to you if you do anything she (or the DM) may deem as an Evil act. If the creature chooses to resist, roll a Charisma saving throw of a DC15. keep adding 1d6 for each attempt at resistance. If one is knocked unconscious while attempting to resist Ad'Alunari's will, the attunement will break.

Spellcasting. This blade gives the wielder access to the spell Moonbeam upon attunement, 5 charges per Long Rest. Casting the spell at a higher spell level will cost you more charges. Ad'Alunari will also deal 2d6 extra damage with a Nat20 on an Attack Roll. The Moonblade can be used as a Spellcasting focus for Warlock, Paladin, Cleric and Druid spells.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
