Pipes "Fourarms" McGruff; infamous bartender, caring cat-lover, middling musician. Renowned for serving customers, petting his cat and playing the harmonica simultaneously, his world was turned upside down in an unfortunate mimic-related piano tuning incident. Fortunately, a young Anton Spark was quick to Pipes' rescue, developing a tool capable of calming rowdy clients and ousting tricky mimics. Inspired by local folk tales of a ridiculous, six-armed, top-hat-wearing creature, this prosthesis is known as the "Arm'onica."
To attune to the arm'onica, you must have a missing arm. Once attuned, the arm'onica can't be removed against your will.
As an action, you may blow into the arm'onica, choosing one of the effects below. When you do so, roll a d10. If the result is equal to or lower than the spell's level, it becomes clogged and requires delicate cleaning over the course of a long rest to make it functional again.
- Harmony'ca. You cast the spell Calm Emotions with a range of self (60-foot cone).
- Harm'onica. You cast the spell Thunderwave at fifth level.
The DC equals 13 + your Proficiency bonus.
A Bard that attunes to this item gains a +2 bonus to its Bardic Inspiration die.
