This dagger is made from a magical alloy that can channel lighting-based spells to increase its range and damage. Channeling lighting into this blade grants the “Gift of Keranos” buff, which increases its effective range by 5 ft. and grants an additional 1d12 lighting damage (add 1d12 for each level beyond 2nd). Each successful strike with this weapon requires a constitution saving throw (dc10) to maintain this buff.
This blade grants other benefits:
- While you have the “Gift of Keranos buff”, you can use your reaction to redirect a lightning based attack within 5ft. to another target within 50ft.
- Any hostile lightning damage taken while wielding this blade will grant the “Gift of Keranos” buff.
- While you have the “Gift of Keranos” buff, your eyes appear like as a cloudy storm.
This blade is unstable and may break unexpectedly. This blade can only be repaired through a blessing of Keranos.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
