Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement by a Devotee of Hadar)

This jagged greatsword is over 6 feet long, while being impossibly light and was once a revered Silver Sword of the Githyanki. Doused in the sickening energy of a corrupted star upon which Hadar makes his home, this blade has been altered to become an extension of His horrifying presence. Through this he feeds.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

In addition, when you hit with a melee attack, an ethereal tentacle springs into existence and saps the life force of your target for 1d8 Psychic Damage. If the wielder rolls a 1 on an attack roll, the tentacle lashes out at them instead, dealing the same 1d8 of psychic damage.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Psychic, Devotee of Hadar, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
