This weapon is dressed in a dark aura. This weapon was forged out of demon blood and the blood of the innocent. This weapon carries a black blade, with red bat-like wings for the handle. This weapon has been carried in battle by many demons, if it were to fall into mortal hands, it could corrupt them, and change them into a demon. (Mentally anyways) It does have sentience, the sentience communicates with emotions inflicted on the wielder of the weapon. When the blade is angry, it will make the user feel angry. This blade is neutral evil. Its only desire is for blood and death. If the weapon is not fed with blood every day, the blade will drain you of life.
A means to an End: Whenever a creature dies from this blade its soul is destroyed, when a creature is killed with it, one of the creature's hit point die is added to the sword. The blade holds onto this effect until the next dawn.
Aura of Despair: On initiative count 0, the weapon will make a 1d4 roll, on a 1, the item emits an aura of despair. Every creature within 15ft, not including the wielder, must make a Wisdom save of 15 to not become frightened and take 3d6 necrotic damage. This effect stays for only one turn. The frightened condition lasts for 1 minute, someone suffering under the frightening effect, can remake the save at the end of their turn.
Fearless: While wielding this weapon you are immune to the frightening condition.
Curse: This weapon drains the user of HP if they are not fed blood. The Weapon will be satisfied and will not need to be fed again till the next dawn. If the player doesn't feed it with someone else's blood, then it takes 3d12 HP from the wielder that day if the wielder is willing. If the player refuses, then the item will try and take maximum HP the wielder must make a 20-con saving throw, or opposing Con save from the sword. The sword has a +8 to the save. If the wielder fails then Agony takes 1d6 and the maximum HP decrease is permanent until the weapon is thrown away.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
