Originally created by mindflayers as a way to battle due to its extensive capabilities, Mind metal became extremely rare after the fall of the Mind Empire. Very few humanoids know how to make it these days, but those who do are most of the time rich due to many people wanting the item. Mind metal has the ability to read an owners thoughts and transform to what they are thinking of, allowing for it to be used for defensive and offensive purposes. It is also loyal to its current owner, sometimes making it hard for other sentient beings to take control of it. Whenever someone tries to take control of it while its owned by someone else, they must make an intelligence saving throw. When used as armor, it gives a +1 to ac, while when a weapon, it does the same amount of damage as the weapon would usually do, but these are not the extent of this items potential and there's more to be discovered.
