Katana of The Twelve Moons

The Katana of The Twelve Moons is a restored legendary weapon made of mithral and adamantine reforged by devils. Calligraphic silvery patterns accentuates the dark blade. Originally known as the Katana of The Crescent Moon, it was gifted to the Clan of Wu in Riedra and was a prized family heirloom passed down to the first born warrior of every generation.

The Katana confers the following benefits to its wielders:

• Ungodly Sharpness. The Katana ignores any resistances to slashing damage.

For its attuned users, the Katana provides additional powers:

• Magical Potency. The Katana hits as a magical weapon +3. The weapon glows a dim purple in a 5 ft radius.
• True Seeing. Designed to fight demons and celestials, the wielder of the Katana is gifted with True Seeing while attuned.
• Decapitate. On Natural 20, the Katana may decapitate up to a large-sized head. The target must make a Death Saving Throw or be decapitated. Targets that make a successful saving throw take 6d8 slashing damage.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
