It is a staff that looks like a toy rifle, the tip of the barrel is barely carved out, nothing more than a divot big enough to fit a coin. It is several feet tall and could be used as a spell-casting focus for wizard spells. Any spell cast through the focus has either the smell of gunpowder or is shot out in small pellet-like bullets.
The legend goes that long ago a wizard and inventor had a duel, and the rule was that only gun-themed weapons were allowed. The inventor thought this was an easy victory till the wand of lead was shown off. it was designed after months of enchanting and incredible thinking on the wizard's part. After the battle, it was given to the inventor as a reminder of that day.
Waving the wand while pulling the trigger will make a line of floating small lead balls, depending on the shape drawn a different attack is made with different costs of charges. if no shape is drawn the ammo will fall to the ground as 1 charge per ammunition.
(20 charges) [Action] Circle- The wielder draws a circle, it then turns and like a saw runs through a group of enemies in a 10-foot circle within 60 feet. All targets in the area take 4d10 slashing damage or half as much on a DC 15 dex save.
(15 charges) [Action] Square- The wielder draws a square and it turns into a sight, within 90 feet, pick 5 targets (can be one creature 5 times or objects or any variation) and make a ranged attack against each, deal 1d10 piercing to all hit targets.
(5 charges) [Action] Triangle- The wielder draws a triangle and it shoots a spread of bullets from the wielder in a 10-foot cone, targets in the cone must succeed in a dex 13 save or take 2d6 piercing damage. Alternatively, the caster can aim low and all targets in the cone must succeed in a dex 10 save or take 1d6 piercing damage and fall prone.
Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
