Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement)

In eras long passed a sword was created to be the antithesis of the demons that plagued the land. Forged from fallen stars and quenched in the tears of sorrow that had been brought to the land this sword came into being. The sword is wreathed is a dim aura of light. Touching the sword washes you with peace of mind. 

By wielding the sword, you gain the following benefits: 

If you are attacking a demon or fiend, you gain advantage to that roll.

The sword has 5 charges for the following properties. It regains 1d4 expended charges if it is used to reduce a creature to 0 hp If you expend the last charge roll a D20. On a 1, the sword disappears from your possession and does not return to the material plane for 1D6+6 years. 

Banishment: You can expend 2 charges as an action to cast the spell Banishment, you do not have to concentrate on the spell if the sword is in your possession.

Zealous Strike: You can expend 1 charge as a bonus action to imbue your next attack with radiance. If the attack hits it deals an additional 1D12 radiant damage. The damage is 3D12 if the creature that was his is a demon or a fiend.

Divine Sunder: You can expend 3 charges as a bonus action to cleave through both the material plane and the ethereal plane. Any damage dealt to the creature is doubled until the end of your turn. 

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
