this +2 black dagger has an ornate handle featuring various glyphs in abyssal, a warped hilt featuring an ominous eldritch eye, and a warped blade made out of cold Iron

the blade has the ability to hit enemies within a 10-foot reach, if an enemy is too far from the short blade, Xalathath apparates a slick shadowy tendril that lashes and strikes forward

due to the cold iron, any strikes against fey creatures ignores all of their resistances. if a spell or cantrip deals damage through the blade, any resistance to the damage type will be ignored  (for example, casting booming blade will deal full damage even to fae creatures resistant to thunder damage)

 

 

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
