These are glasses with a simple brass frame and round lenses. The lenses are extraordinarily clear, so much so that without close inspection one could think the frame is missing them. No matter how the glasses are handled, the lenses do not smudge and dirt does not stick to them. The glasses adjust to the wearer's anatomy and are comfortable to wear, conveying the feeling they were distinctively made for them.
While wearing the glasses you can expand one of its charges to cast Identify as if you were casting the spell. The glasses have 3 charges and regain 1 expended charge daily at dawn.
After expending a charge make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, on a failed save your eyesight deteriorates by -1 for sight based Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks, when you are not wearing the glasses. This negative effect stacks with subsequent fails, each fail adding a -1 malus.
While wearing the glasses you do not suffer the negative effects.
Your eyesight can be restored and the negative condition ended with a Lesser Restoration spell.
