This armor was created for a human hero by the first fairies prophesied to lead them to the surface and their promised land, where they will be accepted by all. This armor is unbreakable; grants the bearer the ability to speak, read; and understand Deep Speech and the ability to survive the extremes of the sewers, as cold as -20F and as warm as 120F. While wearing the armor the bearer feels fortunate and hopeful and nearby flies, rats and other small synanthropic or carrion eaters will frolic.
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
