A small brass ring connected to a small disc with a smooth green stone in the center. When placed on your hand the ring slides over your finger feeling slightly too big and the disc rests in the open of your palm. Try as you might to use this artifact nothing happens. As you begin to fade into a light slumber you feel your hand begin to tingle, as if someone were squeezing it slightly. As you awaken the ring has tightened itself around your finger and the disc rests in your palm so closely but yet very comfortable, almost as if it were a part of you now. Now the Artifact hums with probability energy and will activate upon your command. When you use the artifact tendrils of various blue, green and purple hues extend out of the stone in the palm of your hand. Roll a D6 to find out which of these effects happen;
- Nothing happens
- Whatever creature the tendrils touch loses the ability to breath DC 18 CON save prevents this effect
- You open a dimensional portal you have no idea where it goes. The creature the tendrils touch gets teleported to another dimension. DM decides where. DC 15 STR save prevents this
- Whatever creature the tendrils touch has its physical characteristics changed (i.e. face looks different, changes its race, eyes are a new color ect.) Have DM decide what changes
- Whatever the tendrils touch turns to solid gold. (use item or creatures weight to determine the value of gold created) DC 18 CON save prevents this effect
- The creature the tendrils touch becomes enthralled by you and is now your servant for d100 hours. Must succeed a DC 15 WIS save to be freed after that time or is enthralled again
This artifact also allows you to cast the spell Passwall consuming 1 of its charges. When all charges are spent from this artifact roll a D20. on a 5 or lower the artifact shatters into a million pieces and can only be fixed with a Wish Spell should you be able to recover all the broken pieces.
