Amulet of Infernal Calling

A circular electrum amulet with a blood-red gemstone in the center. Eerily glowing infernal runes of summoning ring the gemstone. While attuned to this amulet, your pupils bleed to a deep red and resemble infernal rune-summoning circles and you gain a +1 to Charisma (Intimidation) checks. 

Infernal Calling. This amulet allows you to cast "Summon Lesser Demon" once per day. It recharges at the next dusk. The modified summoning rules are as follows: 

• 3 Demons of CR1 or lower 
• 6 Demons of CR1/2 or lower 
• 9 Demons of CR1/4 or lower 

You may also use this Amulet to invoke a deadly curse, taking 3d8 Necrotic damage which cannot be reduced in any way. This allows you to summon a single Demon as high as CR 3. Once the Amulet has been used this way, you cannot do so again for 7 days.  

Curse. If this damage reduces you to 0 HP, you die immediately and cannot be resurrected with any resurrection spell cast lower lower then 7th level, or a wish spell. The summoned demon gains temporary HP equal to twice the damage rolled and the duration of the summoning is considered "until dispelled." Your soul is lost to the amulet, stored within for eternity or until resurrected. If the amulet is destroyed or its enchantment ends, your soul is lost forever and cannot be retrieved by any means.
