Armor (splint), legendary (requires attunement by a short rest while visibly under the sky)

A set of Aabcellean nomad armor of layered plates and leather, consisting of a breastplate, greaves, gauntlets, boots, and pauldrons. A noticeable magical glow shines faintly through the joints and gaps of the armor, making a very subtle celestial chiming sound.

Attuning to the armor requires taking a short rest beneath the open sky. The armor provides different effects depending on the time of day or night. You retain the bonuses for 12 hours after, even if the time of day has changed. If the time of day changes during the Attunement process, you gain the bonus of the time of day you spent the most hours resting in.

If Attuned on a clear day beneath the sun, you gain the Sun's Radiance: all your attacks inflict 1d10 extra Radiance damage and you are Immune to Radiance damage.

If Attuned on a clear night while the moon is out, you gain the Moon's Grace: regenerate 1d10 HP each turn in combat or every hour out of combat and ignore Stealth Disadvantage and Movement Penalties from this armor.

If Attuned on a clear moonless night, you gain the Star Ward: resistance to all nonphysical attacks.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
