Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)

Whenever a willing creature within 30 ft other than you fails a concentration check for a spell they have cast, you may use your reaction to expend a charge and attempt to take over the concentration and control of the spell. Roll a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 2/3 that of the failed check. On a success, the spell continues under your control.

Whenever you fail a concentration check for a spell you have cast, you may use your reaction to spend a charge and maintain it. The amulet takes over concentration on your behalf, lasting until the end of your next turn or until you take damage. You can use an action to take concentration back from the amulet, expending an additional spell slot of the spell's level to do so. You can use take that action only once per long rest.

The amulet has a maximum of 3 charges, and regains 1d4-1 expended charges at dawn.

At the end of a short rest, you can cast a single spell into the amulet, which has no effect other than to charge the amulet. The amulet gains charges equal to half of the spell's level, rounded down. When gaining charges this way, it can exceed its maximum charges temporarily. At the start of your next short or long rest, it loses any additional charges beyond its normal maximum.
