Weapon (revolver), legendary (requires attunement by a long rest by a Rogue after 15 headshots (critical hits) with the gun.)

This beautiful revolver is a work of art. It's long barrel is etched black metal with a lovely dusty finish, and it's handle is a polished ivory. A long black metal chain dangles from the end of the handle about a foot, and ends with a white jasper ram skull with gem cut ruby eyes. Shots fired by this terrifying hand cannon hiss and roar like a fiery eruption.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and while attuned to it, you gain the following:

  • All shots deal an additional 1d12 fire damage.
  • When you fire the last round in your chamber, you deal an additional 25 force damage.
  • Whenever you apply your Sneak Attack damage to a shot, you deal half that damage to all other creatures in a 15 foot radius around the target.
  • Every shot that successfully hits a creature knocks the creature back 5 feet.

Anguish has a 5 round chamber.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Fire, long rest by a Rogue after 15 headshots (critical hits) with the gun., Damage, Combat, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Sap
