The Amulet of Vulcan is a holy symbol depicting the ancient Dragon Vulcan breathing fire downwards on to a sword sitting atop an anvil. The sword depicted in the masterful craftsmanship perpetually glows red and scalds the hands of any not deemed worthy by the god's power.
Once attuned to the item, you can expend a use of your channel divinity as a bonus action to activate the Strike the Anvil or Forge the Soul abilities for one minute. When activating the Amulet you may choose which of the two abilities is prepared first.
Strike the Anvil. While Strike the Anvil is active, the next time you hit a hostile creature with a melee weapon attack, you deal additional force damage equal to your Wisdom Modifier. Once this ability is used it is deactivated and Forge the Soul becomes active.
Forge the Soul. While Forge the Soul is active, the next time you heal yourself or an allied creature, you can restore additional health to the target equal to your Wisdom Modifier. Once this ability is used it is deactivated and Strike the Anvil becomes active.
