A finely crafted steel head sits fixed atop a ornate wooden handle decorated with electrum inlay. Faintly glowing Pale blue gemstones are set on each side within an electrum setting.
Upon attunement this weapon emits a faint rumble when weilded. The rumbling grows in volume resembling disant thunder as the weapon gains charges.
Whenever the bearer deals damage to a creature with this weapon, the pale blue stones glow and gain a charge of static electricity (max 6). As a bonus action, the bearer can expend any number of charges to deal an additional 1d4 extra lightning damage per charge on their next hit. These charges ground themselves at the end of the encounter and are lost.
